Bath & Kitchen PlusSLS3CL
Sanitary Grade Silicone
A premium sanitary grade silicone, ideal for use in hotels, leisure facilities and domestic installations. Formulated for use in wet and humid areas it contains a powerful fungicide that inhibits mold growth.
Uses: For waterproofing joints between ceramic tiles, bathtubs, sinks, showers, backsplashes and counters. Can also be used for bedding sinks into kitchen tops and vanity units and for sealing shower trays and shower units. Good adhesion to glass, melamine, laminates, sanitary plastics, anodized aluminum, lacquered metals, painted wood, painted plaster, primed or painted concrete and primed metals, granite, marble, and engineered stones.
Instructions: Apply using a standard sealant gun with the nozzle cut at an angle of 45°, and to an opening slightly larger than the joint to be sealed. Bath surrounds: Half fill the bath with water to allow sealant to be applied at joint mid point. If needed, masking tape may be applied. If large gaps are to be filled, polythene foam, rod or tape should be used to provide support and reduce sealant wastage. Tool down within 5 minutes using a wet spatula or Sealant Applicator Tool. Any trims should be bedded into the silicone within 5 minutes. For sealing waste outlets in sinks and baths: silicone should be applied so that it will be in compression after tightening of connecting pipes. For metallized plastic trims: test for discoloration by sealant before use.
Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions at a temperature between 41°F (5°C) and 77°F (25°C).
Shelf Life: Use within 12 months.
